Mae Swinney , 74, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 3, 2018.
Mae was born on June 22, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Don and Georgia Hughes.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Clay Drake; daughters, Erica Avery and Dominique Swinney and sister, Annie Offert.
Mae is survived by her loving children, Chris Swinney and Jessica Swinney; sister, Pauline Cruz; grandchildren, Bree Avery, Shanta Avery, Ebony Avery, Niesha Avery, Shaval Banks and Dala Brittle; and a host of extended nieces, nephews and other family and friends to cherish her memory.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm Friday, June 8, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). Her Funeral Ceremony will be held Friday at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
