Mae Smith, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 16, 2018.

Mae was born on October 20, 1938 in Munfordville, Kentucky to the late Belknap and Maudie (Beeler) Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Everett Smith Jr. and brother James Wilson.

She was employed at Peytons Factory for over 20 years, she then started a cleaning business with her daughter Sheri called Mom's Cleaning Services where worked until retiring in 1994. Mae had a passion for her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mae is survived by her daughters, Deborah Berger (Chris), Sheri Wells (Gary), grandchildren; April Coulter, Jason Wells (Amy) and great-grandchildren Ethan, James, Mason and Hunter.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) with burial to follow at Jeffersontown Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Koman Foundation.
