Madonna Sue Sans-Trulock, passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on September 26, 1948, she was a proud graduate of the class of 1966 at Angela Merici High School in Louisville, Kentucky.
Madonna was a beacon of love and strength within her family. She was fiercely dedicated to her children: Richard (Bridgette) Sans, Kristina Sans (Kevin Spencer), and Steven (Christina) Sans. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Kimberly Sans, Ryan Sans, Brittany, Whitney (Bryan) Daniel, Zoye Toops, and Jaxson Sans, along with her great-grandchildren, Alexis, Carson, Christian, Sophia, and Hudson; and her beloved dog, Gizmo. Madonna's pride in her family was evident; she dearly loved each one of them and was known for her unique ability to keep everyone in line.
In addition to her family, Madonna had a passion for travel. She particularly enjoyed her time spent at the beach, where she could relax and soak in the sun.
Madonna is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Bischof and Geraldine Coy Bischof; her daughter, Angela Sue Trulock; as well as her brother, Johnny Bischof, and sister, Patricia Bowman.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 pm on Saturday, at the funeral home. Madonna will be laid to rest with her family at Louisville Memorial Gardens West at a later date.
