Madonna Kathleen Mihora, age 94, passed to eternal life on November 26, 2020 at home in Louisville, KY. Madonna was born on September 11, 1926, to Mildred Huntley Slosser and George Fred Slosser in Gladwin County, Michigan, the sixth of ten children. Madonna married Alex P Mihora on March 10, 1945 in Millington, Michigan, where she had graduated from high school. She spent all but the last four years of her life in Michigan, primarily the Davison area, where she was a member of St. John Catholic Church for over 70 years. Alex and Madonna had four children: Sharon (Larry) Peariso of Louisville, KY, Nancy (Doug) Philp of Charlevoix/Clarkston, MI, and Michael (Laurie Duquette) Mihora of Melbourne, FL. She was preceded in death by another son and his wife, Dan (Karen Barnes) Mihora, in 1969 and her husband Alex, in 1980.
Besides her children, Madonna is survived by eight beloved grandchildren: Stephanie (Scott) Erbes, of Louisville, KY, Katrina Peariso, MD, PhD,(David Tierney, PhD) of Oxford, OH, and Craig Peariso, PhD (Sarah Hoglund, PhD) of Boise, ID; Scott Philp of Charlevoix, MI; Lindsay (Matt) Lindemann, DDS of Clarkston, MI; Mitch (Melissa Boyea) Mihora of Fort Gratiot, MI; Nic Mihora of Melbourne, FL; and Dani Mihora, MD, of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by 12 loving great-grandchildren: Nina and Sam Erbes; Sophia Hoglund-Peariso; Evelyn Tierney; Emma, Davayah, Chelsea, and Lucas Philp; Valerie and Marissa Lindemann; Will and Alex Mihora. She is also survived by sister, Joann (Gerald) Furlette of Luther, MI and brother Carl (Nancy) Slosser of Millington, MI.

Madonna's body is being cremated and a memorial service is being planned for the spring. Those desiring to make memorial donations may wish to send them to St. John Church in Davison, MI, or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
