Macy Williamson, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Macy was a member of the American Legion Post 278 and loved fishing, shooting pool, woodworking, and being with his friends and family. He will be remembered as a jokester who was always the life of the party.

He was born on August 31, 1945, in Bonnieville, Kentucky, to the late John and Ethel (Murray) Williamson. Along with his parents, Macy is preceded in death by his grandson, Dennis Williamson; and 5 of his siblings.

Macy is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda (Schulz) Williamson; children, Tina (Chris Simpson) Overton and Darrell Williamson; grandson, Austin Williamson; sister, Dianne Grandstaff; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 5, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, his Funeral Service will be held privately with cremation to follow according to Macy's wishes.

The family requests that contributions in Macy's memory be made to the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association, 161 N. Clark, Suite 3550, Chicago, Illinois 60601).
