Lynn Franklin Perkins

Lynn Franklin "Frankie" Perkins, 84, of Louisville, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 1, 2016. Frankie was born in Taylor County, KY on November 13, 1932.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Cozetta Read Perkins; children, Cherita Perkins-Davis (Lou) of Northern, KY, Melody Perkins-Ragland (David) of Georgetown, KY, Tony Perkins (Charlotte) of Louisville and Tim Perkins (Paula) of Shepherdsville, KY; a brother, Jerry Perkins of Louisville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, December 5, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) with visitation from 11:00 am until time of service. Burial in Jones Chapel Cemetery in Elk Horn, KY will follow services.
