Lynda Rae Fox

Lynda Rae Fox, 58, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. She loved animals and animals loved her. She loved her students and her students loved her. Above all she loved her family and her family loved her. She was a devoted wife and amazing mother who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Lynda started her teaching career in Vermont as a teaching assistant and teacher after earning her Masters in Education. She was a school teacher in Charlotte, NC for 15 years and worked as a 3rd grade school teacher for 2 years at Auburndale Elementary in Louisville, KY. Prior to becoming a teacher, she earned her Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, and worked in graphic design for many years.

She was born on August 28, 1967 in Springville, NY to James and Joyce (Ahrens) Fox.

Lynda is survived by her Loving Husband of 25 years, David Belgiovine Fox, Daughter, Sarah Nicole (Jon-Vincent) Vasquez-Fox, Father, James William Fox, Mother, Joyce Diane Fox, Sister, Diane Carole (Gregory Claus) Fox, and Niece, Jamie Elizabeth Claus.
