LuAnn Sowers, 85, of Louisville, KY passed away on October 5, 2018
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl J. Sowers, Sr. who passed on March 4, 2014. LuAnn is also preceded in death by her parents, John and Delphia Cummings; brothers, Chester Cummings, Jack Cummings, Harold Cummings, Danny Cummings and Ray Cummings and sisters, Arvetta Cummings, Jeanetta Cummings and Doris Daughtery.
LuAnn is survived by her sons, Eddie (Marie) Carnes and Carl (Cindy) Sowers, Jr.; grandchildren, Jason (Missy) Carnes, Dustin (Ashley) Sowers and Carla Sowers; great-grandchildren, Emily Carnes, Jackson Carnes and Westin Sowers; brother, Jay Cummings and sisters, Wanda (Charlie) Mongomery, Darlyne (Wayne) Ables and Diane (Rick) Heibert. She also leaves behind many friends and customers from Cunninghams, Flaherty's and John E.'s where she worked for many years.
The family asks that donations be made to Crestwood Baptist Church, 6400 Sweetbay Drive, Crestwood, KY, 40014.
