Loyetta Lois Harrison

Loyetta Lois Harrison, 84, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Hosparus In Patient Care Center. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 17, 1932 to the late Charles William Schmidt and Ruby Queen Johnson. She attended Southern Hills Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Daniel Edward Harrison, Sr. and James Thomas Harrison, Sr.; one sister, Gladys Tudor; and four brothers, Charles "June" Schildknecht, Theodore "Boots" Schildknecht , Gilbert Schildknecht and David Johnson.

Loyetta is survived by her beloved daughter, Paula Goldman (Howard); a sister, Shirley Thornberg; three brothers, Paul Johnson, Jack Johnson and Robert "Bob" Schildknecht and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family members and friends.

A service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway with private burial to follow in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
