Louise Downs Wigginton, 88, of Taylorsville, Kentucky passed away on July 13, 2017.
Louise was born on March 18, 1929 in Spencer County, Kentucky to the late Marvin Downs, Sr. and Nettie Clay Spencer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Roy D. Wigginton; step-father, William Ernest Bell; brothers, Marvin Downs, Jr., William Clay Bell; and her sisters, Ernestine Bell, Nancy Williams and Mable Downs.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Cathy Hickman; granddaughter, Camille Hickman-Hays (Shaun); great-granddaughters, Cheavonte Hays and Cadeja Hays; siblings, John Bell and Betty Rose Downs; sisters-in-law, Lina Wigginton, Mary Charles Carpenter; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special caregiver, Barbara Jean Spencer.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Second Baptist Church (401 Jefferson Street, Taylorsville, KY 40071) and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of her service at 12 noon. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, Kentucky.
