Louise Dowell Kelly

Kelly Dowell Louise, 79, of Louisville, KY passed away on August 22, 2015. She retired from General Electric, and then worked for Sun Properties.

Louise was born on October 26, 1935 in Irvington, KY to the late Harold and Martha Dowell. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Harold Dowell, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Teresa McCubbins Kessinger, Carl McCubbins, Jr.(Michele); grandchildren, Tedd Kessinger (Brandy), Troy Kessinger (Carly), Alyssa McCubbins, Jacob McCubbins, and Julia McCubbins; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Nancy Barnsfather (Curtis), Lemor Dowell (Rosalie), Henry Dowell (Peggy), Bob Dowell (Sue), Carl Dowell (Debbie), Donnie Dowell (Sydney), and Patsy Wilson (Jim); and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Hwy, Lou, KY), and visitation will resume on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service to honor the life of Louise will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 27th at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Irvington, KY.
