Louise (Dean) Colglazier

September 23, 1951 — December 11, 2019

Louise Dean Colglazier was born on September 23, 1951 in Oneida, KY. She was the daughter of the late Sylvia Baker Marcum and Mark Dean. She is survived by her husband Larry "Jimmy" Colglazier, daughter Lucinda Colglazier Adams and husband Scott, granddaughter Shelby Rae Lawson and husband Adam, great granddaughter Ella Rae Lawson; two siblings Phyllis Dean Dannenfelser and husband Sandy, Mark Paul Dean and wife Tracey, plus many relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by sister Marquita Dean Sodrel, niece Charmaine Dean, nephew Troy Dannenfelser, and cousin James Baker.

Lou was a dedicated employee of The Free Enterprise System/Sodrel Truck Lines for many years. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She also loved her dog, Buddy. She enjoyed working in her yard and decorating her home with pretty things. She cherished her last two years of life watching Ella grow.

After a hard fought battle with lung cancer, Louise Colglazier joined our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side.

To honor her wishes, Louise will be cremated. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 11, 2020. It will be from 1:00-4:00 pm at The Carriage House at the Howard Steamboat Museum.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that Memorial Donation be made to Hosparus, the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana or the J.B Ogle Animal Shelter.
