Louis E. Fontana

Louis E. Fontana, 91, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Louis was a loving husband, dad, grandad, brother, and friend to all. He was a proud veteran and he faithfully served in the United States Army for 26 years. Louis will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on July 5, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois to Anthony and Beulah (Rolan) Fontana. He is preceded in death by his Father, Anthony Fontana, Mother, Beulah Fontana, and Wife, Annamae Violet Fontana.

Louis is survived by his loving family, Children, Steven Louis Fontana, Sandra Kathleen Fontana, Diana Lynn Fontana, Michael Lee Fontana, and Jeffery Dwayne Fontana; 7 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Vickie as well as a host of family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
