Lorraine (Deering) Kelley, 93, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday evening, July 11, 2018. She enjoyed collecting antiques and was a people person. Lorraine never met a stranger. She was a salesperson for Avon for many years and also worked for the New Albany-Floyd County School Corporation.
She was born on January 5, 1925, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Frank and Minnie (Stoner) Deering. Lorraine is survived by her children, Brenda Kelley and Larry Kelley.
Cremation was chosen following Lorraine's wishes, and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions was entrusted with her care. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Southern Indiana Blind Club.
