Loretta Wilson Flaherty

June 23, 1940 — July 12, 2022

Loretta Wilson (Pulliam) Flaherty, age 82 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022. She was born June 23, 1940 in Bonnieville, Kentucky. She graduated from Ahrens High School and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Loretta was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved quilting, bowling and dancing. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roger Pulliam and her mother Ruby Pulliam (Wilson).

Loretta is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Kenneth W. Flaherty; four devoted children, John Flaherty (Beth), Kendri Beck (Randy), Kim Davis (Sam) and Keith Flaherty (Theresa); her sister, Norma Pullian Jeffries; 7 grandchildren, Joseph, Jeffrey, Bradley, Lauren, Samantha, Cameron and Brandi; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 4 to 8pm on Monday, July 18, 2022 and from 9:30am to time of service at 11am on Tuesday, July 19th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Ky . 40243. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington, Kentucky.

Memorials may be made to the Hosparus Inpatient Pallative Care Unit at Baptist Health Louisville.
