Loretta Lee Carroll

Loretta L Carroll, of Louisville KY, passed away at the age of 85, peacefully at home on Monday April 1, 2024. She was retired from Jefferson County Clerk's Office, where she was employed for 15 years.

Loretta was the last Charter Member of Lyndon Independent Baptist Church, she passed full of faith, hope and joy, to see her Savior. She was saddened to leave her family and those that she loved. She will be greeted by many of her loved ones that have gone on before. Loretta is proceeded in death by her loving husband, William F Carroll; her son, William L Carroll (Kristina D Carroll); her fathe,r Curtis Pruitt and her mother Gladys Helen Jordan; her sister, Wanda F Johnson; and brother Gerald Pruitt.

Loretta's love extended to her remaining sibling, Glinda G Arnett; four surviving children; sons, Philip Smitha (Michele Smitha), James C Carroll, Tracy D Carroll (Susie Carroll) and daughter Gatonya G Baker (Kelly R Baker);grandchildren, Tracy D Carroll Jr., Cory R Baker, Kyle L Baker (Cortnie Burgin), Macy A Johnson (Marcus Johnson), Felicia Carroll Rogers (Kelly Rogers), Lacey M Carroll, Jacob F Carroll, Savannah K Carroll, Serena A Carroll, Jonathan Taylor, Jeremy Carroll, and Tabitha M Taylor; her four great-grandchildren, Tommi L Johnson, Malakai R Johnson, Leelan G Baker and Zayne W Rogers will carry her legacy of kindness and joy. Along with being a loving aunt and friend to many other, she is also survived by extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, April 8, 2024 at Lyndon Independent Baptist Church 1628 Roosevelt Avenue Louisville, KY 40242 and also from 9 to 11am on Tuesday, April 9th at the church. A celebration of Loretta's life will be at 11am at the church, with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East, 11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky.
