Loren Richard (Mickey) Ollom, 76, of Crestwood, Kentucky passed away on September 20, 2019.
Loren was bon in St. Paul, Minn. to Dolores & Loren D. Ollom. His mother later married Sherman T. Wethington, who was a loving step-father, all of whom preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 53 years, Marilynn (nee Black), and three children, Madea Fulford, Troy Ollom (Andrea), all of Denver, CO. and Loren (Jay) Ollom (Jennifer), of Waldorf, MD. He has four beloved grandchildren Dustin, Dominick, Jamie and Atom. He also leaves behind other family members and many dear friends that were close as family, too many to name, but they know who they are.
Loren was a Christian and served as a Deacon at Crestwood Christian Church. He showed that commitment plainly in the way he lived his life.
Loren served in the U.S. Navy as a submariner, including service off the coast of Vietnam. He was employed by the F.B.I. (Washington, D.C.) in the fingerprint division as a supervisor, for thirty-five years. He was a loving husband, father and a good friend. He will be missed by many. Loren choose cremation.
A memorial service will be held at Crestwood Christian Church (across from Stoess Funeral Home) on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until the service time at 2:00 pm.
