Loraine W. Macy

Loraine W. Macy, 95, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Westport Place.

Loraine was a graduate of Shawnee High School. She married David Macy on February 18, 1956 in Louisville. She retired from South Central Bell after 30 years. She was a charter member of Woodland Baptist Church. 

Loraine was born in Irvine Kentucky to the late George and Anna Bee Waterfill on April 3, 1929. She is also preceded in death by her son Brian D. Macy and husband David Macy. 

Loraine is survived by loving daughter, Vickie Decker (Doug), two grandsons, Brett (Melissa) and Kris (Teresa) and six great-grandchildren, Allyson, Sophia, Norah, Mariam, Mason and Elias. 

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 11:00 am at the chapel at Resthaven Cemetery (4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, KY 40218). 

The family requests that contributions in Loraine’s memory be made to Long Run Baptist Church, P.O. Box 105 Eastwood KY 40018.
