Lora G. Steier, 90, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on January 19, 2015. She retired from L & N Railroad and was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church.
Lora was born on March 12, 1924 in Powderly, Kentucky to the late Edgar and Ethel (Fleming) Gossett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Steier.
Lora is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville).
Her funeral ceremony will be held Thursday at 12:00 noon at Newcomer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
