Lonnie Hoskins

September 8, 1954 — February 16, 2021

Lonnie Hoskins, 66, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Lonnie was an avid fisherman, spending many treasured summers at Kentucky Lake with his family. He enjoyed NASCAR and was a loyal Louisville Cardinals basketball fan. He worked as a medical technologist at Floyd Memorial Hospital for 43 years and attended Heartland Nazarene Church in Floyds Knobs. Above everything in Lonnie's life, he was most proud of being a devoted "Daddy" and "Papaw."

He was born on September 8, 1954, in Salem, Indiana, to the late Arthur and Juanita Hoskins.

Lonnie is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Cynthia (Crowder) Hoskins; son, Brian (Meghan) Hoskins; daughter, Abigail (Dustin) Vincent; sister, Gloria (Marvin) Soliday; brother, Michael (Brenda) Hoskins; and grandchildren, Emma, Savannah, Isaac, and Gavin.

A Private Family Service will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana) with burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, Indiana. A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
