Lois Madelyn Johns, age 90 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015. She was born on February 9, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA. Mrs. Johns was loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Howard Johns; and her parents, John P. and Elmira Paul McCauley.
Mrs. Johns is survived by her children, David H. Johns, Jr. (Connie), Thomas P. Johns (Lauraine), Elmira "Mira" Johns, James A. Johns (Karen) and C. Ronald Johns (Cindy); 14 grandchildren, Jackie Sargent, Cheryl Stigler, Laurie Foster, Tommy Johns, Kelly Smoot, Crystal Edwards, Jonathan Ronniger, Jeffrey Ronniger, Adam Ronniger, Benjamin Ronniger, Kimberly Reinhart, J.T. Johns, Ryan Johns and Brett Johns; 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; loving nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
Funeral ceremony will be 11am Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, with visitation there on Monday from 1-8pm. A second service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, February 12th at Nied Funeral Home, 7441 Washington Street, Swissvale, PA., with visitation there from 10am until time of service on Thursday. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Swissvale, PA.
Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in honor of her beloved niece, Barb.
