Lois Ann LaRoche

Lois Ann LaRoche, 79, of Mauckport, Indiana entered her heavenly home on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Lincoln Hill Health Care in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on September 14, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois.

She is survived by her sons, Bob E. Danielson of Corydon, IN and Ken L. Danielson of Charlestown, IN; a granddaughter, Stacy (Danielson) Andersen; two sisters, Carol J. McLennan (Rev. Thomas) of Crown Point, IN and Lynn M. Strong of Miami, FL; two brothers Ronald L. LaRoche of Cary, IL and Roger K. LaRoche (Carol) of Crystal Lake, IL as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Albert Hiram and Margaret Loretta LaRoche; one sister, Donna Mae Tillis; one brother, Larry LaRoche.

Lois was a very kind and loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed cooking for those whom she loved. Among her most coveted dishes were potato salad and chocolate birthday cakes. Lois took great joy and satisfaction in painting yard statues which she sold at her business, Ornamental Concrete: Critters Ann Creations, in Mauckport for many years. Her other hobbies included square dancing, bird watching, working puzzles, and playing the accordion in her younger years. Lois loved the Lord, her family, friends, and her cats. Lois’s humble, loving heart, true sacrificial spirit, generous hugs, and helpfulness brightened the days of those around her and impacted the lives of those who knew her.
