Lois Louise Crook

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lois Louise Crook, age 96 of Louisville, KY. She was a beloved mom, grandma, sister and aunt. She was a devout Christian and member of Corinthian Baptist Church where she was an usher and choir member. She was known by many in the neighborhood as “Ms. Lois”.Mrs. Lois Crook was a cherished matriarch of the family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie Sr. and Willie Mae Johnson; siblings, Carrie, Helen, Johnnie Jr., MaryAnn, Herbert and Robert; great-grandchild Courtney. 

Ms. Lois leaves to cherish in her memory her children, Sonja, Flenoil Jr., Andre, Shawn, Herbert and Carlanda; grandchildren, Djuan, Dwayne, Tara, Heidi, Kristian, Ollie IV, Gibran, Jermaine, Jamal and Kwamaine; great-grandchildren, Alexis, George, Nyla, Lyza, KJ and a host of family, relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243, with a celebration of Ms. Lois' life to follow at 1pm.
