Logan Thomas Vardeman, 29, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022.
He was born on October 9, 1992 in Louisville, Kentucky to Greg and Shawn Vardeman. He is preceded in death by he and Alyssa's baby, his grandparents, Frank and Effie Vardeman, great grandmother, Mary Ray, Uncle Larry, his friend Max Gilpin and his Coach Kenny Scott.
Logan began his life the same way it ended, living it to the fullest. He charmed everyone he met, young and old, with his infectious smile and his love and loyalty was second to none. Even if you didn't want to love him, he left you no choice. He would drive you crazy and then leave you laughing no matter how hard you tried not to. He lost more people at a young age than anyone ever should, but that never stopped him from loving his family and friends to the fullest. He was the first person so many people called with good news and bad, and he always showed up. He had a tough exterior but his heart was full of love and everyone who really knew him, especially his wife and mother, knew just what a big softy he was.
He treated his friends like family, and made Ryleigh his own no questions asked. He was a loyal son, visiting his parents regularly and a devoted brother and uncle. He loved his daughter and spending time playing with his nieces. He loved to hunt, especially with Larry. He loved to ride with no particular destination in mind. He loved a good weekend spent playing video games with his wife, good roast sessions with his brother and sister over family dinner at gran's, long talks with his father at the kitchen table, discussing all things there are to know about guns and music trivia, and even though he didn't admit it to many he never stopped enjoying cuddles with his momma, and although he played his last game years ago the bonds he formed with his guys on the football field remained. He married the love of his life, whom he had been with ten years less than four months ago, but they were four months full of love and time well spent.
