Lloyd "Chicken-Man or Junie" Simmons, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020. Lloyd worked for White Castle distrabution center. He was a member of the Boggies Motorcycle Club. Lloyd joined the Hill Street Baptist Church at an early age. He loved doing his yard work, and was an avid train collector.
He was born on August 16, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky to Lloyd and Ruth (Ritchie) Simmons. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Sister, Debra Simmons, and Brother, Sherman Simmons.
Lloyd is survived by his, Daughter, Erica (David Anderson) Simmons, Step-Daughter, Tiara Sheckles, Siblings, Joyce Tate, Laurice (James) Parks, Donald Simmons, and Wanda (Calvin) McDaniel, Grandchildren, Eric Walker, Anthony "Rico" Johnson, and Essence Anderson, Great-Grandchild, Emani Walker. Lloyd is also leaves behind to cherish his memory his special niece, Tonicia "Nikky" Tate, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel with burial and Military Honors to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central), Radcliff, KY.
