Lloyd K. Smith, 81, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015. He was a member of the K of C Cardinal Ritter Council #1221, Hi Caliber Sportsman Club, and a life-time member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church. Lloyd retired from Dean Foods after over 30 years of service.

Lloyd was born on February 3, 1934 in New Albany to the late Loren and Marie (Grubbs) Smith. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruby (Smelser) Smith.

He is survived by his daughter, Jacinta Neidiffer (Tom); sons, Bruce Smith (Pat), Michael Smith (Carol); brother, Ronnie Smith (Rita); grandchildren, Brian Smith, Lisa Page, Sarah Gardner, Michael Smith, Dacia Smith; and great-grandchildren, Savannah, Ashton, Kaydence, Hadley, Skylar, Lindsey, Landon, Abigale, and Hayden.

Visitation will be from 12 to 6 PM Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Monday in the chapel at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church (5719 St. Mary's Road, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119).
