Liz Marlene Cabañas, age 43 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Liz was born on November 19, 1979 in Asuncion, Paraguay. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice that would uplift and bring joy in the most difficult of circumstances. Liz had a heart for those that felt most unloved and invisible among us.
She deeply loved her family and friends and would always pray for them. Her 3 beautiful kids were her pride and joy and only 2nd to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who was 1st in her life.
Liz is survived by her loving mother and father, Blanca & Richard; stepdad, Lazaro; children, Eliana, Xavier & Angelina; and siblings, Blanca & Eddie; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11am on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Chapel in the Woods, 1407 Moser Rd, Louisville, KY 40299. A celebration of Liz's life will be there at 11am. Burial will follow at Floydsburg Cemetery, Crestwood, Kentucky.
