Lisa (Worsham) Williams, born on January 20, 1964, in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on May 18, 2025, in Crestwood, Kentucky. In 1982, she became a proud graduate of Fern Creek High School. She was a devoted daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Among her proudest accomplishments was witnessing her family thrive and succeed, which brought her immense joy and fulfillment.
Known for her creativity and nurturing spirit, Lisa cherished her home life. She found great solace in the company of her beloved pets: Chloe, Ralph, and Koko. Lisa is survived by her daughter, Mackenzie Williams; nephew, Rick (Stephanie) Wilson; niece, Deiserae Kohls; great-nieces, Delaney Wilson, Ava Kohls, Brinley Kohls, and Casey Kohls; and great-nephews, Dillon Wilson and Alton Kohls.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maryellen Worsham (Perdue); father, Stanley A. Worsham; and sister, Becky Wilson. Lisa's spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew her, and her legacy of love and creativity will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. She is now reunited with her loved ones who passed before her, and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, resting in eternal peace.
Everyone who remembers her is asked to honor her in their own ways, but are welcome to honor her by participating in some of her favorite activities. Lisa enjoyed the simple life: visiting Derby Dinner Playhouse, painting, watching cute animal videos online and reality television with a cold Diet Coke, or reading stories from the Bible.
She was cremated in accordance with her wishes. Those who wish to celebrate her life are welcome to privately honor at her grave next to her loved ones at Louisville Memorial Gardens East, where she was privately laid to rest in keeping with the way she lived—quietly, gracefully, and surrounded by love in spirit.
Lisa will be laid to rest at Louisville Memorial Gardens East Cemetery. Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions East Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville KY, 40243. Is entrusted with her arrangements.
