Lisa Kennedy

Lisa Kennedy, 58, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on August 21, 2026.

A devoted mother, daughter, mams, sister, and friend. Lisa cherished her time with family and friends. She enjoyed gatherings at the Eagles Club, hosting family cookouts and was known for her outgoing and strong-willed nature. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment with them. Her vibrant spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Born on October 18, 1967, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Benny and Mary (Starrett) Burks, Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Benny Burks; her husband, Danny Lucart; her brother, Benny Burks Jr.; and her sister, Becky Burks.

Lisa leaves behind her loving mother, Mary (Jerry) Burks; daughters, Ashley (Shawn) Willibaum, Tara (Josh) Kennedy, Danielle (Jeff) Kennedy; her beloved grandchildren, Keara(Jordan) and Kynlee Kennedy, Kameron Kennedy, and Jayden Aguila-Lucart. She is also survived by her sisters, Jeri Lynn (Jeremy) Maas, Brandy (Luis) Burks, Rhonda Burks; brothers, Eddie Burks, Roger Burks, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and family who will forever remember her.

A celebration of Lisa's life will be on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles 2173 located at 201 Outer Loop, Louisville, Kentucky 40214.
