Lisa Ann Dean

Lisa Ann Dean, age 63 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Baptist Health Louisville with her family at her side.

Lisa was born October 23, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late George and June Merrifield. She attended St. Raphael Catholic School and was a graduate of Assumption High School. Lisa obtained her Bachelors Degree from Bellarmine College. She married and enjoyed a 33 year journey with the love of her life, Glenn Dean.

She had an entrepreneurial spirit and together with her father (George Merrifield), husband (Glenn Dean) facilitated and brought to life the Caboose Express at Papa John's Stadium (L & N Football Stadium).

In addition to her parents, Lisa was preceded in death by her son, Chad Dean.

Lisa leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Glenn Dean; best friend and sister-in-law, Tracy Dean; siblings, Donna Mudd (Jim), Gary Merrifield and Greg Merrifield (Beth); granddaughter, Ava Dean; nephews, Jesse Mudd (Lindsay Brooks), Daniel Mudd (Megan) and Curt Merrifield; nieces, Jessica Kephart (John Kephart) and Avilyn Merrifield; many more great-nieces and nephews who knew her and loved her deeply; daughter-in-law Ashley; and a host of family and friends.

Services will be private.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Animal Care Society or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
