Lionel Holbert Fair, 79, of Louisville, KY passed away on December 6, 2018. He was an Army veteran and attended church at Westend Church of Christ. Lionel was giving and always helped those in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lindze and Mabel Fair and sisters, Betty Lindsey and Patsy Mercer.
Lionel is survived by his son, Leonard Fair; granddaughter, Jessica Fair; siblings, Ina Engelken and Doris (Chester) Page and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, from 3pm-8pm. A celebration of Lionel's life will be Wednesday, December 19, 2018, beginning at 12pm at the chapel of the funeral home.
A graveside service will follow the funeral ceremony beginning at 1:30 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central, 2501 N. Dixie Highway, Radcliff, KY.
