Lindsey Assunta Pelliccia was born on June 5, 1980, at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 46.

Lindsey graduated from Heritage High School in Conyers, Georgia, and went on to earn her MBA in International Business from Georgia State University in 2007. Most recently, she served in the role of Senior Director of Product Management at GE Appliances, bringing 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, and business development to her work. She was known for seeking creative solutions to everyday problems and for her innovative thinking and ability to adapt to change. Her colleagues appreciated her collaborative spirit, wonderful sense of humor, and high level of professionalism. In addition to her corporate career, Lindsey was passionate about real estate investment and management, owning several properties and in the process of building her next home, which reflected her independence, ambition, and vision for the future. She was also trilingual, with proficiency in Italian and Spanish.

Outside of work, Lindsey had a remarkable ability to turn her curiosity into action. She explored an extraordinary range of interests, from learning to become a cobbler and opening a small fashion boutique to writing a book, making art, and taking ukulele lessons. She approached new pursuits with enthusiasm and a willingness to dive in and discover what she could create. If something interested Lindsey, she wanted to try it for herself.

Yet Lindsey’s life cannot be adequately captured by achievements, dates, or milestones alone. She was a daughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt, friend, and so much more to the people fortunate enough to know and love her. She possessed a spirit uniquely her own: loving, creative, talented, funny, adventurous, resilient, strong-willed, and deeply connected to the people she called family.

Lindsey experienced both tremendous love and profound loss throughout her life. She lost her mother at the tender age of nine, a loss that remained a part of her forever. In the years that followed, her grandparents and aunts lovingly stepped in alongside her father to help raise Lindsey and her younger brothers, surrounding them with the love, stability, and presence they needed.

As Lindsey grew older, and particularly as her grandparents passed away, she became an increasingly important source of nurturing, connection, and continuity in her father’s and brothers’ lives. She carried forward the love and traditions that had shaped her childhood, making them distinctly her own. Lindsey became a keeper of family memories and stories, helping preserve the legacy of her mother and grandparents for her father, her brothers, and the generations that followed.

Those who knew Lindsey also knew that she continued to look toward the clouds for signs of her mother. The little girl who lost her mother at nine never stopped carrying her with her. In so many ways, Lindsey helped the rest of her family carry her, too.

Lindsey also faced profound challenges of her own. She battled breast cancer and endured difficult treatments, ultimately emerging as a survivor. Yet the measure of Lindsey was not simply in what she endured, but also in what she gave.

She was known for her thoughtful, sentimental gifts, her elaborate meals, and her ability to bring people together. With her Italian heritage, Southern upbringing, and experience growing up in her father’s restaurant, Lindsey developed a deep love of food and a spirit of adventure when it came to trying new things. For her, food was about more than what was on the plate. It was about recreating cherished family recipes, gathering around the table, feeding the people she loved, and creating moments of connection. Her work friends remembered that she was always the first to try something new during their travels.

Lindsey had an enormous capacity to live life to the fullest, take chances, and pursue her dreams. In the words of her eleven-year-old niece, Paisley, “Lindsey went where she wanted, when she wanted, and I want to live like that when I grow up.” It is a fitting tribute to a woman who embraced life on her own terms and encouraged others, simply by the way she lived, to do the same.

Lindsey was always on the go, whether traveling for work or leisure, yet she continued to show up for the people she loved. Wherever life took her, she left an impression on those around her that would last long after her passing.

Lindsey leaves behind her father, Domenico Pelliccia; her brothers, Ciro Pelliccia (Rachael Morgan), Geno Pelliccia (Dakota Pharr Pelliccia), and Nick Pelliccia (Lauren Holz); her nieces and nephews, Nico and Nina Pelliccia, Paisley and Silas Pelliccia; and her aunts, Leslie West (Dick West), Lori Baxley (Mark Baxley), and Gena Williams (Timothy Williams). She also leaves behind an international community of family, friends, and loved ones whose lives carry pieces of hers forward.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lisa Pelliccia; her maternal grandparents, Myrna and Eugene H. Carpenter; and her paternal grandparents, Ciro Pelliccia and Assunta Capuano.

For those who loved Lindsey, there will always be things that bring her suddenly and vividly back: a familiar expression, a story told for the hundredth time, a joke that sounds better in her voice, a photograph, a song, a meal she loved, or perhaps simply looking toward the clouds.

Lindsey’s life contained joy and struggle, strength and vulnerability, laughter and loss. It contained multitudes.

And she was loved through all of them.
