Linda Kay Thurman

Linda Kay Thurman, 58, passed away on June 10, 2019. Her family meant the world to her and she loved spending her time with them. One of Linda's greatest enjoyments was having Sunday breakfast with her family. She was hardworking, dedicated, one of the most selfless people you could meet and had an infectious spirit. Linda was an amazing woman, mom and grandma and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Laverne Thurman; sister, Kathy Smith and her brother, Nick Thurman.
Linda is survived by her children, Amanda Bohannon, Anthony Gerstenlauer and Tyler Hudson; grandchildren, RJ and Ashley Bohannon; sister, Diane Reeder; brother, Guy Thurman and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 3pm-8pm. A celebration of Linda's life will be Friday, June 14, 2019, beginning at 11am at the chapel of the funeral home.
