Linda (Miller) Shaheen

Linda (Miller) Shaheen, 69 of Jeffersonville, Indiana, formerly of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017. She was the former co-owner of Shaheen Office Products where she worked alongside her husband for nearly 30 years. Linda was a fan of the University of Louisville Cardinals and loved to watch their football and basketball games. She was also a great cook, and her family enjoyed her many specialties.

She was born on May 1, 1947 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Harold and Virginia (Price) Miller. Linda was also preceded in death by her siblings, Jerry Miller and Suzanne DeRosa.

Linda is survived by her husband of 49 years, George Shaheen; daughters, Vicki Moore, Sarah Teegarden (Tim); brother, Dan Miller (Becky); brothers and sisters-in-law, Carolyn Miller, Tony DeRosa, Herb Abdalla, Yvonne Wilhelm (Bob), John Shaheen (Anne); grandchildren, Shelby Moore, Ally Moore, Gerrin Moore, Sammi Teegarden, and Jake Teegarden.

Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Thursday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
