Linda Raymer, 81, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026. Linda was a loving and devoted mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She had a strong work ethic and took pride in providing for her family, often placing others needs before her own. Linda cherished the friendships she created while working at both Cardinal Shower and Priceless. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
She was born on August 11, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to Francis and Elsa (Springate) French. She is preceded in death by her father, Francis J. French, Jr.; mother, Elsa Raye Trauth; step-father, Tom Trauth; sisters, Suzanne Gilkey, Eleanor Elder, Annette O'Connell, Carol Casper, Reverend Peggy French; and grandson, Jacob Daniel Raymer;
Linda is survived by her loving family, children, Ray (Patricia Desrosiers-Raymer) Raymer, Becky (Craig) Mills, Bobby (Alicia) Raymer; grandchildren, Brennan (Hailee) Raymer, Kelby Raymer, Isaac (Nicole) Mills, Marisa (Justin Williams) Raymer, Austin Raymer, Naomi Desrosiers, Olivia Raymer, Sophia Raymer; great-granddaughters, Madilynne Raymer, Savannah Raymer, Annemarie Mills, Abigail Mills; sister, Donna Alcorn; brother, Leonard French; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
The family requests that contributions in Linda’s memory be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
