Linda Marie Anderson, 57, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on September 20, 2016. She retired from Pillsbury and was a member of Northside Christian Church in New Albany. She always enjoyed time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Linda was born on January 2, 1959, in Amarillo, Texas, to Dotie (Rue) Witt-Fordyce and the late Dale K. Witt. Along with her father, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Lisa (Witt) Whyte.
In addition to her mother, Linda is survived by her children, Shannon Witt (Anthony Steadmon) and Adam Anderson (Angela); siblings, Annette Waiz, Jannette Scalf, Jacqueline Brannon, Tamara Daniel, and Timothy Witt; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Memorial contributions may be made to Northside Christian Church (4407 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150).
