Linda Marie (Bush) Jones

Linda Marie (Bush) Jones, 65, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025. Born on January 16, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Eugene and Theresa (Miller) Bush. Linda’s life was marked by joy and love, particularly for her family. She had a passion for playing bingo and scratch-offs, activities that brought her much happiness and excitement.

Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her grandchildren: Javairon York, Cameron Jones, Zyion Jones, and Elijah Jones. Her family meant the world to her, and she always looked forward to gatherings with relatives and friends, sharing laughter and creating memories.

She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Olen Jones, Sr.; children, Olen "Orlando" Jones, Jr. and India Jones; brothers, Mike Bush (Rochelle), Larry Bush, Sylvester "Earl" Bush; and sister, Brenda Falls. Linda is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Curtis Bush and Thomas Sweat.

Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care. Contributions in Linda's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
