Linda Lou (Beanblossom) Ashmore, 69, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015. She never met a stranger and always tried to help others in whatever way she could. Linda enjoyed music and was an avid Vince Gill and Elvis fan.
She was born on February 2, 1946 in Mauckport, Indiana to the late Joseph and Ruby (Beanblossom) Hottle. Linda is survived by her fiancé, Willard Spann; children, Shonna Paschal, Michael McClanahan; siblings, Joyce Weber, Melody Henderson, Carolyn Spaulding, Bill Hottle, Gary Hottle; grandchildren, Chasity McClanahan, Michael Faris; great-grandchildren, Saul, Jeremiah, Joshiah, Ethan, and Aiden.
Visitation will be from 1 PM to 8 PM Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Wednesday after 11 AM. Her Funeral Service will take place at 1 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Mount Zion Cemetery in Mauckport.
