Linda Lee Taylor, born on July 8, 1951, left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her before her passing on May 16, 2026. Linda was a radiant spirit whose vibrant personality brought warmth and joy to those around her. Outgoing and full of life, she was truly a people person, always eager to connect, share a smile, and make every moment memorable.
Linda’s professional journey was a testament to her remarkable talents and dedication. She began her career at Masterson's in catering, where her organizational skills and attentive nature shone brightly. Her talents soon propelled her to the role of Sales Corporation Manager for Pizza Hut, a position in which she excelled and took great pride. Her proudest accomplishments were deeply rooted in her exceptional organizational and sales abilities within the food industry—skills that earned her respect and admiration from colleagues and clients alike.
Beyond the professional realm, Linda’s heart was filled with adventure and a zest for life’s simple pleasures. Alongside her beloved husband, Mickey, she traveled every highway across the United States and Ontario, embracing the freedom of the open road with enthusiasm and curiosity. Linda cherished boating and camping, reveling in the natural beauty that these outdoor pursuits offered. An avid lover of music and dance, she found joy in attending the musical performances of the bands in which Mickey played, moving gracefully to the rhythms she so adored.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Hack; daughter, Amber Taylor and her sister, Patsy.
Linda leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband, Mickey Taylor; sons, Adam Weickel and Michael David, Jr.; granddaughter, Olivia Tarrence and sisters, Deborah Kay Allen and Karen Nearn.
Friends and family will come together to honor Linda’s memory at a Memorial Gathering to be held on May 31, 2026, at 2:00 pm at AMVETS Post 61, located at 9405 Smyrna Parkway, Louisville, KY 40219. This gathering will be a heartfelt opportunity to celebrate a life that was lived with passion, kindness, and an unyielding spirit.
Linda Lee Taylor’s passing leaves a quiet ache in the hearts of those she touched, but her spirit lives on through the memories she created, the love she shared, and the vibrant example she set. As a woman who embraced life wholeheartedly, her legacy is found not only in her professional achievements but also in the laughter, music, and journeys she so deeply loved.
