Linda Louise (Pirtle) Hays

Linda Louise (Pirtle) Hays, 71, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. She had been a long-time employee at K-Mart in Clarksville and retired from Legacy Supply Chain Services in Jeffersonville. Linda was an animal lover, enjoyed camping and going out to dinner with friends. She loved celebrating the holidays with family and going to art festivals and flea markets with her sister.

She was born on September 6, 1950 to Glennis and Mary Pirtle. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hays. Linda is survived by her sister, Sue Yost (Tom); and nephew, Chris Rowe (Cassandra).

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany) with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
