Linda Sue (Carmickle) Elliott

Linda Sue (Carmickle) Elliott, 62, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018. She had been an employee at Hoosier Panel and Robinson Nugent. Linda enjoyed playing bingo and had a love for purses.

She was born on September 26, 1956 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Richard, Sr. and Jo Ann (Oldom) Carmickle. Linda was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Elliott; and brother, Richard Carmickle, Jr.

Linda is survived by her children, Jason Elliott (Christa), Jessica Elliott; siblings, Donald Carmickle (Peggy), Cathy Sharp, Robert Carmickle (Megan), Mervil Carmickle (Leslie); sister-in-law, Karen Carmickle; grandchildren, Evan, Autumn, Ethan, Mercedes, Brandy; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 11:00 a.m. Her Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday in the chapel at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Linda's wishes.
