Linda Bell(Benitez) Lima

Linda Bell (Benitez) Lima, 57, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015. She was an avid bingo player and loved to dance. Linda was a free spirit that was always anxious to travel and go on the next big adventure.

She was born on April 21, 1958 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Luciano and Ann (LeFleur) Benitez. Linda was also preceded in death by her husband, Jose Lima.

Linda is survived by her children, Anthony Pena, Christina Pena, Jose Pena (Jillene), Yolanda Pena; sisters, Sheryl Valentin (Amador, Jr.), Julia Pokorny, Doreen Santiago (Louis), Dareen Everett; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her Funeral Service taking place at 1 PM. Cremation will follow according to Linda's wishes.
