Linda Marie Adkins

Linda Marie Adkins, age 77, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose presence will be missed by all who knew her.

Born on September 1, 1948, in Memphis, Indiana, Linda was the daughter of Paul and Maxine Black. Along with her parents, she is reunited with her son, Glenn Adkins; and siblings, Carolyn Ingle and John Black; who preceded her to Heaven.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Wendy Kraft (Paul), granddaughters, Alyssa Pfister, Megan Collins (Cameron), and Kaitlin Kraft; and great-grandchildren, Damiana Amor, Ivory Collins, and Lily Collins. She also leaves behind her siblings, Paul Black Jr., Robert Black, Christina Veasey (Jim), Pam Hardin, and Teresa Black (John). In addition, she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Linda was a lifelong Christian and was always steadfast in her faith. She loved to read, play Bunco, do crafts, shop at thrift stores, and spend time with her family. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten by her loved ones.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bowery Cemetery in Memphis, Indiana.
