Lillian Stanford, 84, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018.
Lillian was born on April 17, 1934, in Louisville to the late Garnie and Lillian (Hogan) Snawder. Lillian loved to sing and dance. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a lover of life. Lillian loved the Lord and was a member of Penile Baptist Church. She was a well loved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed.
She was also preceded in death by her Husband, Joseph J. Standford, Brothers, Billy and Archie Snawder, Sister, Christina Snawder, Grandson, Matthew McIntyre and two Great Grandchildren, Isabella Sue Hunter and Jessica Jones.
Lillian is survived by her Daughters, Pat Jones, Deborah Warren (Michael), Kathy Messer (Steve), and Sandra McIntyre (Bruce), Sons, Joe Stanford, Danny Stanford (Diane), Stevie Stanford (Leann), Brothers, Garnie and Donnie Snawder, Sister, Gloria Snawder, 14 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, and 10 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). Her Funeral Ceremony will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow at 2:30 pm at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
