Lillian Belle Monroe

Belle Monroe, of Louisville, Kentucky, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the age of 95. She died peacefully at home surrounded by her daughters and furbabies.

Belle was a member of Redeemer Baptist Church and retired from Louisville Pottery/Stoneware after over 30 years of service.

Belle was born on April 4, 1925 in Shelby County, Kentucky to Bailey and Nettie Kendall. She is preceded in death by her Parents, her Husband, Earl Reed Monroe, Brother, Steward Kendall, Sisters, Blanche Hardin, Lucille Howell, and Anna Terry.

Belle is survived by her loving Daughters, Cherie Todd Monroe, and Donna Ree Monroe, Sister, Roberta Gootee, and many Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, Kentucky.
