Lillian Mae Engebretsen

May 3, 1927 — September 6, 2018

Lillian Mae Engebretsen of Ft. Myers Florida passed away peacefully in Louisville, KY after her stoic battle with cancer.

Lillian lived for her Savior, Jesus Christ and the family loving and joyfully celebrates her absence in the body, knowing she is now present with her Lord.

Lillian was proceeded in death by her parents, Claude P. Artlip and Mildred Munson, sister Sally Snyder and brother Ted Artlip, her loving husband Kenneth, her daughter Sandra Lee Sluiter and grandson Barry Chapman.

Lillian is survived by her children, Christine (Bill) Bennett, Ken E. (Debra) Engebretsen, Rita (W. Berry) Chapman and David (Debbie) Engebretsen. Lillian is also survived by her siblings, Bert, Robert, Richard, Roger, George, Judy, Carolyn and Mary Ann.

Lillian was proud of each of her grandchildren Sherry, Cindy, Bill, Tan~A, Trish, and Ronnie, Tracy, Adam, Benjamin, Reginald, David and Lori.

Lillian's legacy includes numerous great-grandchildren, the blessings of several great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Lillian was so looking forward with anticipation for the arrival in mid-December to meet her newest great-grandson.

A private family graveside service will be held in Michigan at a later date, where Lillian's remains will be laid to rest alongside her husband and daughter.

In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy to be made to Hosparus Health of Louisville in remembrance of the loving care they bestowed on Lillian.
