Always considered the family historian. Lida Hope's tales of pre-revolutionary ancestors and a childhood forged in the great depression were stories from an America very different from today. Amongst the last of America's 'Greatest Generation', she understood the value of hard work, commitment to family, community, and friends. She was an incredible story teller and loved to share her knowledge and tales to anyone who would listen, and she will live on in the stories she told and the lives that she touched. She was a special person, and will be missed by all of those who knew her.
