LeRoy Orwick, 79, of Depauw, Indiana, passed away March 22, 2018. He was a former small business owner, Thoroughbred horse trainer, and always a classic car enthusiast and dog lover.
He was born in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late LeRoy, Sr., and Mildred Orwick. LeRoy was also preceded in death by his sister, Marlene Hechmer.
LeRoy is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patricia Shuster; siblings, Gitzie McDonald (Mack), Ron, Ken (Susie), Don (Debbie), and Marty (Sara) Orwick; many loving nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs. Special thanks to friends, Joe Berger and Lester Copelin, who have eased this difficult time.
Cremation was chosen following LeRoy's wishes. A Memorial Service will take place in the near future. Contributions in LeRoy's memory may be made to Second Stride, Inc. (7204 Highway 329, Crestwood, Kentucky 40014) or to Salem Animal Control (204 West St. Joseph Street, Salem, Indiana 47167).
