Le'Roy L. Greggs III

Le'Roy L. Greggs III, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and son, passed away peacefully on October 14 2024, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born on July 30, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois, Le'Roy lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his family.

For many years, Le'Roy found joy in his work. From finding cool items to bring home to his kids to building bonds with his coworkers. Over the years providing joy with his infectious smile and warm and joyful attitude. Over the years his coworkers turned into family. Outside of work, he embraced a variety of hobbies and interests that reflected his vibrant personality. Le'Roy was an avid basketball fan who enjoyed both playing and following the sport. He found joy in shopping, relishing good dinners with his family, and indulging in video games, music, and sports.

At the heart of Le'Roy's life was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kimberly Knowland; his sons, Kyle Knowland, Kendall Greggs, Randall Griffin, and Ki'Jon Knowland; and his daughters, Ka'Shara Greggs, Candice (Elliot) Blair, and Christine Greggs. He was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. Le'Roy's loving mother, Ernestine Greggs, and siblings, sister LaTricia Greggs and brother Brian (Maricel Solis) Schmidt, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins, will also carry him in their hearts and memories.

Le'Roy will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially for his unwavering strength, kindness, and love. He is preceded in death by his son, Le'Roy K. Greggs IV, his father, Le'Roy Greggs II, and his brother, Allen Greggs.

A visitation in honor of Le'Roy L. Greggs III will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). It was Le'Roy's wishes to be cremated followed by visitation.
