Leonard Curry , 75, of Fisherville, Kentucky passed away on September 5, 2017.
He was a mechanical contractor by trade for 45 years, and owned and operator Derby Mechanical until 2005. From 2005 until present he worked as a mechanical consultant. He handcrafted cabinetry, furniture and wooden toys for his children and grandchildren.
Leonard was born on March 26, 1942 in Liletown, Kentucky to the late Murphy and Joyce (Pierce ) Curry.
Leonard is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sarah Joann (Trimble) Curry, children; Gregory Michael Curry, Timothy Allen Curry (Stephanie), Shannon Leann Pearman (Gregory Bohn), Elizabeth Louise Bohn (Phillip), grandchildren; Amy, Allison, Nicholas, Jonathan, Isabella, Matthew, Anneliese, Dylan, Alexander and Kaitlyn. He is also survived by his sister Judy Simpson (Boyce) and brothers James Curry (Rita) and Larry Curry and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243).
Memorial contributions may be made to Kentucky Fund for the Arts (623 West Main Street #200 Louisville, KY 40202).
